Songs can be polished masterpieces that have stood the test of time or unfinished voice memos you’ve never had the bravery to share. Our community loves all of it, so don’t stand in the way of being encouraged & inspired. Bring whatever you want to share…no matter how raw. We embrace the journey.
Spoken Word
Spoken word can typically be a poem, a rap, or either set to music. But sometimes it’s just thoughts rolling around in your notes app that need to get out. This is the place to do just that. Social media isn’t the best place to share what you’re going through. Those ideals are better shared in a community with people who love you where you’re at no matter how messy it may feel. Bring it!
Stories
What is a song or word apart from the story or life that created it? We give you the space and time to share exactly that. We want to get to know you and love you for the person you are and stories help us get a better understanding of the journey you are on. It can even help others on their own journey so we value the ups and downs of life.

Absolutely not! While we are cultivating a community for artists to grow and develop their craft, art needs to be shared. Part of that journey is sharing with anyone who will listen or appreciate what’s being shared. Please come and invite someone too that might enjoy taking it all in.

We hope you do! That’s why we started this in the first place. A safe haven to share raw, original moments that might feel a bit unpolished or unrefined. Most of our artists only share original music if that helps.

You can. We hope sharing cover songs is only the foundation of your craft. We will spur you on to be brave and write something original so be ready for the encouragement.

Neither. It’s people celebrating artists no matter their background, race, religion or status.

I’m sure you did. And that’s okay. Everyone is on a journey and we embrace the journey, no matter if it offends our preferences. If something makes you uncomfortable, that’s also okay, plan accordingly for your family values and walk that out. Some of our community get sitters for kids, maybe that’s for you.

You definitely can bring children, but know we are fostering an environment that respects and listens to the art being shared. So if your kids have a hard time sitting and listening then maybe consider a sitter. Also, this is a haven for people to be raw and honest about their journey so take that into consideration as well.

Right now we don’t allow bands. This expression focuses on the song more than the performance so we keep it simple. We love collaborations but be prepared to collaborate with restraint.

Please do! Part of this community is being inspired and connecting with other artists to create sounds we’ve not yet heard. Go make something beautiful.
Keep it simple
Focus on the art.
It’s about the song, word or story, so spend time making that right. The performance will take care of itself if you’ve put in the time on the rest.

Our setup sounds great but it’s intentionally simple. Be prepared to perform to the room like you would without a sound system. Our special mic will amplify you just enough so every note is heard.

Don’t overthink it and have fun! Our community will make you feel the way you hoped they would. You are gifted and worth listening to so come with the confidence to match!
